Making custom xbox 360 controller. have question
So im going to be making another one of my custom xbox 360 controllers but i have a quick question about making the leds turn on and off with the controller. I know that you need a transistor but i need to know which transistor i can use. Im going to be switching the ROL leds with blue ones on a halo reach controller and switch the thumbsticks to clear ones so that i can install 3mm blue leds under them to light them up. Can someone give me a link to the transistors? Also since im going to be using 3mm blue leds, do i need a resistor? i was thinking that i didnt because it runs on 3.0v-3.4v so i thought i could just connect the positive of the led directly to the battery terminal. Can someone confirm this?
