iHackedits SnesP Worklog

Post by iHackedit »

Hey guys, I joined in July 2010 and have loved the portables that have been made. I then bought a kit to build electronics and to help me understand it at the same time. I then did research on electronics and decided to portablise something. I asked for help with what console to start off with and got told to do a Power Joy or a retro duo. I decided to do the retro duo considering it looked sleek and nice and lots of people portablise nes' and snes'. I then posted this, my worklog of making my SnesP. Any way, to the questions and whatnot :D
To start of I need info. I don't want to have a big chunky portable but don't want to have to chop the board dangerously close to components on the board, so can someone show me where to cut for future reference when I get my board?
Batteries, batteries, batteries... Oh how I know so little about you guys. Please give me a link to an appropriate batterie for this console :) and charger and pcb, I don't want to be working with heaps of different voltages to :)
Case, I want to get epoxy putty and work with the case I get with the screen, the case with the retro duo and little pieces I find.
Screen, I wouldn't mind having a Psone screen but what do you guys recommend?
Have I missed anything? Please tell
Me :)
