how do i clean this

the desoldering vaccum from radio shack
the guy said you have to clean it immeadiately after you use it or the soler will ruin it

You can usually just unscrew it and brush the solder out later.

I've never cleaned mine and I use it all the time. Haven't had a problem yet.
