You'd probably just cough at the worst. I've inhaled a small amount of metal dust once when I was working in my dad's machine shop, and I'm still alive.
I wouldn't recommend breathing fine metal dust tho. That stuff is dangerous if there's enough. Get a work mask thing and you will be fine.
