I learned some HTML!

Post by G-force »

Its pretty easy to learn too! I was amazed with the simplicity. Of course it can be very complex, but for what I need it should be easy!
I stayed up late last night messing around with it and I came up with....(drumroll please)
http://www.macgyverportables.tk
I used all the free stuff I could find to build it, so theres plenty of ads to go around. But if you have an adblocker its no big deal.

Just thought I would share my experience...and my kickass site! :P

You may want to switch to another web host. Geocities is kinda limited.

Now all you need is a knockoff ezforum and an rss feed! :D ;)

<s>I know a little bit of HTML, too!</s>

What did you use to make the logo? (I'm guessing The GIMP?) It looks great!

Would you believe MSpaint 8) It was hard to do but it was worth it. Only took an hour :P And after all, whats a site without a badass logo?

I'm still getting the hang of GIMP. It's got a lot of stuff in it I don't know how to use. What the heck is a layer!

I plan to switch to 100webspace, I even have the account made.
I was actually gonna use the geocities tools when I was making the site, then I thought I'd give HTML a try, and I found out how great it is!

Ya html is very ez to learn. If you wan't to learn some more html, or things like PHP and Javascript go to
www.w3schools.com
they are very ez to understand. Also what is a kickass logo without music? here is some html for some music if you wan't it
<embed src="foo.mov" width="100" height="20" qtsrc="http://www.mp3_URL_here.mp3" loop="true">
Image
<(' '<) (>' ')> <(' ')> Go KIRBY!!!

I shaved my head bald at the end of march, and its still pretty short. When its longer at the end of the year I'm cutting it into a mullet.

I know HTML too...but can't I just attach the .tk domain right to a server as the main name rather than as a re-direct?
Warranty-Voiding fun!
