Sleep
The evening hangs beneith the moon
A silver thread on darkened dune
With closing eyes and resting head
I know that sleep is coming soon
Upon my pillow, safe in bed
A thousand pictures fill my head
I cannot sleep, my mind's a flight
And yet my limbs feel made of lead
If there are noises
In the night
A frightening shadow
Flickering light
Then I surrender unto sleep
Where clouds of dream
Give second sight
What dreams may come both dark and deep
Of flying wings and soaring leep
As I surrender unto sleep
Sleep
A silver thread on darkened dune
With closing eyes and resting head
I know that sleep is coming soon
Upon my pillow, safe in bed
A thousand pictures fill my head
I cannot sleep, my mind's a flight
And yet my limbs feel made of lead
If there are noises
In the night
A frightening shadow
Flickering light
Then I surrender unto sleep
Where clouds of dream
Give second sight
What dreams may come both dark and deep
Of flying wings and soaring leep
As I surrender unto sleep
Sleep

I've got a better poem! Have you ever read the poem "My First Time"? If you got it in an email with a cool blue coloured text, you got the original that I sent out. If it was multicoloured or all black, you got one of the rip offs. I wrote that poem 2 years ago for English, and I got an A++ it was awesome!

Care to post it?nos_slived wrote:I've got a better poem! Have you ever read the poem "My First Time"? If you got it in an email with a cool blue coloured text, you got the original that I sent out. This makes me mad! I don't have a copy of my poem on this computer, and I didn't feel like typing it up, so I searched on Google to see if I could find it. Any ways, the first 4 sites I tried were identical copies of my poem, all with different "authors"! Anyways, this is one of my best poems, "My First Time". I ask you to read all the way through. If it seems dirty, you will understand it when you finish.
Dave Hughes(That's me, the real author!) wrote:The sky was dark
The moon was high
All alone
Just she and I
Her hair was soft
Her eyes were blue
I knew just what
She wanted to do
Her skin so soft
Her legs so fine
I ran my fingers
Down her spine
I didn't know how
But I tried my best
I stared by placing
My hand on her breast
I remember my fear
My fast beating heart
But slowly she spread
Her legs apart
And when I did it
I felt no shame
All at once
The white stuff came
At last it's finished
It's all over now
My first time ever
Milking a COW!
