tamagotchi backlight?

tamagotchi backlight?

So i am getting a tamagotchi and this is my second one. And i hate that one can't use this in dark (unless they have a tamagotchi color which are very expensive) without having to use another light source, such as DS to visably see the screen. I was wondering if any one had a good guide to putting your run of the mill white LED lights into a tamagotchi.If so may i have a link? Or if it is your own guide that hasnt been posted post the guide here? Oh and i'd like the light to run off the batteries in the back.
