Intellivision Controller Wiring Problem...Sorry

Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I'm already asking for help...and for Intellivision yet!
I'm hoping one you may have an answer...
I bought a classic (brown) Intellivision controller as well as a Retrozone Intellivison-to-USB kit.
Unfortunately, the wiring diagram [solder points 1-9] on the Retrozone website refers to the new (white) controller plug (see link below). Of course, my classic controller connects on the inside of the Intellivision and has a different connector. There doesn't seem to be anyway to determine what-wire-goes-where . I tried using one of the contact choices for Retrozone (Twitter)...no answer.

I'd really appreciate some help.

The Intellivison II made the controllers removeable, but kept the same signals, but changed the connector.
I believe that the wire order is the same.
