I haven't actually fed it a video input, but I'm sure i read somewhere that the brightness and volume have an osd?
There is sound coming from the speakers (just the usual little hiss that comes out of all speakers when they are on), ut nothing out of the lcd. That little brown ribbon that goes to the LCD from the board actually came out, so i have pushed it back in.
Anyone got any ideas? or do i actually need to feed it a video signal first?
Thanks.
PSOne screen not displaying anything

gannon,
I think that may be it. I'd completely forgotten about the fact that some screens require the 5V to get it to go. (actually replace 'forgot' with 'hoped that my screen wouldn't be one of the 'unlucky' ones that needed it').
nos_silved,
I'm running it off of the wall with the adapter, and tI haven't done the LED mod as of yet. The ribbon came out and I put it straight back in, I was thinking it hadn't of gone in far enough. Otherwise I'm thinking its probably the 5V thing.
