PS1 Screen White LEDs

After many failed attempts at finding 3mm White LEDs, I have decided to look on ebay. I found there for about 2 bux(plus shipping) and I was just wondering if they'd be good for the job

yeah but they have that 25 dollar minimum thing(or 32.50 for Canadians such as myself), but I may have to do no online shopping, as my brother remind me of the hobby shop in the downtown area of where I live. Can't believe I didnt look there oh well, I'm heading there tomorrow so wish me luck

well the hobbyshop, although a long-shot, was a success!!

I got a pack of 5, 3mm white LEDs(and 5 470ohm resistors came with WOO!!:roll: ) for about 4.50 CND. Also got my on/off switch(switches, it came with 3 in the pack meh) for about 4 bux. Not too shabby considering I wasn't expecting to get anything.

Ya, I was out of ideas for LEDs when the guy at Radio Shack told me about a Industral Supply Store. Turns out they have a hobby section too filled with everything you could ever want in your intire life

Hobby shops always have them cheep, I got my 3 for $3 CDN. I was tempted to buy 10 for $6 (woot for buying in bulk) but id never find anything to put them in... except my TI-83

turns out I may have goofed and grabbed Bi-polar LEDs(this is bad right?). Yeah i know bi-polar is bad now(i was just so happy i found 3mm white). But i have been tipped of by a buddy of mine in computer engineering about this place called nutech. I e-mailed them and they said the have some in stock so I'm heading there tomarrow at 4.
