This works, I tested it with another device.
It has a small cut in the rubber but it has not severed the rubber of the individual wires.

Misc Sega RF adapter
I am unsure which Sega console this belonged to, it could be from a Genesis Model 2 or an older console. I tested it with my Super Nintendo's RF-Out and it worked.
