Hi guys and gals. I'm getting started on my portable N64 project. I have a few questions about the display I plan on using. I have a mint condition Gameboy Advanced SP that I'm not using anymore.
Is it possible to use the LCD from the SP as a display for the N64? If so, how would I go about modifying the ribbon cable connector so it can be soldered onto the main board?

It is of course possible, but also impossible. (If that makes sence).

Re: N64 display questions
Yes it is technically possible. With an Innovation Gba Tv Tuner.
But you would have to put the entire Gba Sp in the system , plus the Tv Tuner.
So no, it's not possible.

Yeah I see what you mean. Those tuners are way too big for portable use and I bet they will kill the batteries i planned on using.

Re: N64 display questions
The gba sp's display is 2.5" x 1.5" and yes you could use the gba sp for your portable but you would have to make room for the entire gba sp plus the tv tuner. Hailrazor did a little review on the 3 most common 3.5" lcds on the market which are a really small and will fit inside of pretty well any case, heres the link.
