Okay, so I have been thinking about making a N64p for a couple months. I do know most of the basics about making one, but I just don't want to spend over a hundred bucks to make one. Since I don't want to spend 70 bucks on a psx screen, I want to just use a portable tv screen with a video input jack, like this one but I want to know if it will work. http://cgi.ebay.com/Casio-Portable-TV-m ... elevisions Or, if someone knows of a better screen for a descent price, that would be great.
Also, I don't want to spend a lot of money on a battery (who knew!), so what kind of rechargeable battery would last about 2 hours per charge? im guessing around a 7.2v 3300mah , but i just want to check.
Any other helpful advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Also, sorry if there are a bunch of other posts just like this, I just don't feel like searching.
questions, hints, and help for my first project

If you check Ben's projects you will notice that in his early days he used pocket TVs a lot of the time, so its very possible.
