Sega Genesis2 port (SeGen II Port) *PICS close to FINISHED*

Ok so I'm new to making portables and decided to make my first portable out of Sega Genesis Model 2, my only old school system that's not broken

I've done hours of research over the last few weeks and i have found out all of the information I need on making a portable system and i know all of the items I need to do it

So i need help naming it... so far ive came up with SeGen II Port, but if u have a better name please suggest thanks


Ok so a update after a long long drought (had the hardest time getting pics from phone to computer) but here they are:

As you can see it has:
On LED
Power Button
PS1 LCD
Original 3 button controller (but i used xbox 360 buttons)
2nd player plug in (on the bottom)
and AV out (on the top but havent gotten a recent enough pic for u to see it)

so i finished it about a month ago and never got to posting... but i some how broke the MoBo literally 20 mins after everything was done -_-.... so i will fix it i jus need a new Model 2 motherboard and hopefully sell it.

As for plastic for your case, how are you planning on making the case? Vac forming, or something less fancy? The plastic you'll need will vary depending on your chosen build method.

but i looked on ind plastic for high impact styrene... the problem is I had $60 left to spend on this project till my next check i found a ps1 screen for $40 (comes with a ps1 pwer cord and controller so good deal lol) and i needed a S vid to rgb cable for my sega which came out to like $7..... and that plastic is like $25+ when u add in shipping and considering i have like $10 left over that isnt gonna help.....

I did see that okw gave free cases but i really dont wanna wait 2 whole weeks to start this project lol...

so honestly if u can find me any type of plastic sheets between $.01 and $15 ill be happy lmao (also have to be atleast 7.5x7.5 and more then .08 thick)

So Ive made progress

Ive cut some pieces of Tile into a case and spray painted all of them black (unsure wat it was found it in my basement ands it was hard but easy to cut *shrugs)

Ive cut the holes for the screen and for the dpad and the A button... when im done cutting the holes i will post a pic of the case lol

and i just recieved my battery in the mail now all im waiting on is the screen!!!
