Depends on your revision. Also keep in mind, future games might stress the system more and use more power.

I'm guessing he meant at 12v. :P
I think it should be fine. If you got the 1.5A from adding the rated draw of the fans you'll use, the actual draw will probably be around 1A after the fans spin up.
