Yes, with copper braiding stuff on a roll. (It's next to the solder at RadioShack.) I guess you put the braiding on top of the solder, and heat them from the top.

Or, if you don't mind heat, you can hest the solder while pulling the component up off the board (but that is REALLY HOT with the iorn I have.) :(

but what does the bulbt hing do?

if you have a desoldering iron there is a small hole rite in the soldering part that sucks it up
