any ideas for a fast, 7-9" , 3g web browser

other than the ipad, i despise apple
but i need interwebs on the go
looking for something cheap as i don't plan on taking good care of it, preferably inbuilt 3g modem.

There was this design, but I don't think it made it to market.

Edit: There are ARM craptablets-do some searching and you can find one. They just ported Ubuntu 10.04 to ARM, if that's your fancy.

You can either buy the laptop outright or you can get them subsidized, but if you buy it you can mod it however you want.

Smartq 7/v7 might work. I have a Smartq5 and it's pretty cool. There's a good sized community for the Smartq devices and there is a lot of ports of different operating systems; Linux, Android, Windows CE, and ones that I have never heard of, Mer and Angstrom. You can multi-boot it to run more than one of these as well.

It doesnt have built-in 3G, but you can connect to an existing 3G connection, like your phone or something. I never looked into this so I don't know much about it.

im not really a fan of the netbook idea just because i prefer the table design for just a web browser

But if you got an Android phone (which you should, 'cuz they're awesome(and no, I don't have one)) you can use any old device with wifi to connect to its 3G.
