How to insert controls onto the N64
I am attempting to make an N64P, and I disassembled a controller, to look inside it, to see what I would be adding, but I'm not sure how to go about doing so. I know to some of you, it might seem a little like a noobish question, but I am very new to modding, so I require some assistance.

Re: How to insert controls onto the N64
There are many methods used for mounting controlls in a case. One of the easiest is to simply take some radioshack buttons, drill a hole, screw them on, and solder them up to the controller. (Like SS's 6th, 8th, and 12th N64p's, and maybe more that I forgot.)
Another method is to take the plastic part out of the controller casing with the button holes on it, cut a big hole in your case, and ABS cement/ epoxy/ bondo/ JB weld/ superglue / hotglue it in. (listed from best to worst in order of cosmetics & strength.)
The last method is the simple drill-a-hole-and-put-the-button-in method. This works well, but generally doesn't look as good as the second method. This is a bit easier than the second method. With this method, you must use PC board with tact/ rubber membrane switches on it below the buttons. Method 2 can use this or the original controller board+ membrane pads for connections.

OK, I'll try that, thank you.
