SNESOAC?

Post by overlordlink »

OK I saw this and i was wondering if it could be made slightly less portable. For instance you know placed in a new case and attached new lcd and speakers and moved around the controls would that be possible for this certain device. because I love the concept of it. Its basically a usb loaded NES, SNES, GBA, Sega Genesis, and Neo Geo but the screen just seems to small I mean it 2.8 inchs and I belive that to be quite puny lol. or the one below it
ps. the one below it is like almost twice as much but it does a lot more lol

a dingoo and a gp32x. both linux based emulator machines. i dont think either have any kiind of video out, so a bigger lcd is a no-go. bigger controls and such are possible, though not really worthwhile. also, keep in mind that both use emulation and not hardware to run the games. as for the small screen, 2.8 inches is just fine. i have a dingoo and a gp2x (predecessor to the second one you posted), (as well as several psp's, and other small screened devices) and i have no problems with screen size. viewing is just fine. no problems whatsoever.

as for mako's comment, i disagree. i get full speed SNES and Genesis and everything else emulation on both my dingoo and gp2x.

P.S.: your avatar is a big big, scale it down a little

Plus on top of that i need advice on what batteries to get for the SnesP beause the psone screen im getting from my friend has a battery pack that will run it so thats not an issue just power to the snes board.
