alright guys, my book arrived and im already anxious about building my portable snes, but i have a question regarding mAh and voltage on a battery.
alright, so say i have a system that requires 1.2v/2500 mAh battery to power it up. but instead, i would use a 1.2v/3000 mAh battery..what would happen? would the mAh affect the battery in a way or somewhat?

Re: question about mAh and voltage
mAh is the capacity of a battery. The more the better, you can't go too high and hurt your system. But if you use too much voltage you will hurt your system. Do a little searching on the forums, I'm sure I've seen a long explanation of the two somewhere...

Re: question about mAh and voltage
I find myself explaining this about once a month. Maybe we should have a battery sticky. People are asking hypothetical battery questions like this practically every day.
