N64 Troubles

Post by argelfraster »

I have an n64 that I took apart. I cut off the whole front side and wired up a controller.
Everything else is still intact (AV out, power jack, cart slot)
I hooked up my 3.5" screen to it, plugged in LoZ and turned it on. "No signal"
So I put in Super smash bro's, and again "No signal"
I put in pokemon stadium 2, "No Signal"
I tried one last game; I put in Super Mario 64, and it worked.
Why is this the only game working?

maybe its because it doesn't use a pin that got messed up somehow while taking it apart.
This place is fun.

I don't think thats it.
I have the expansion pack in, so any game should work, but still nothing.
Is it possible that the games were ruined when tested with a bad cart slot relocation?

Try them in another n64 if you have one. Or the games could be dirty.
