PSone Lcd Battery suggestions

HI I'm new to the forums and just wanted to ask a quick question. I'm planning on using the PSone lcd screen for a project on my xbox 360. All I need to do is power just the screen and nothing else.

I've been looking at this pic and it says that it uses 7.5v for main power. Is that just for the screen or for the whole thing? And what is the 5v sense power up screen pin used for. And what are some rechargable battery suggestions If I'm only going to be powering the screen

If anyone could answer these questions that would be amazing. Thanks.

The 7.5 volts is for the whole unit. The 5 volt switch is basically an on switch for the screen, the 5 volt source tell the screen that it is plugged in so it has to be bridged.

would this battery work for the whole system? if so would i need some sort of power converter?

Yeah that should work. It will give you about 2 hours. You don't need a regulator. The 5v on switch goes the 7805 regulator on the psone board.
