falcon vs jasper 360 laptop
ben uses a falcon xbox in his tutorials, and i have a jasper. how would making the laptop differ? is there another tutorial for jaspers, or is the process the same?
Re: falcon vs jasper 360 laptop
Ben did a teardown for Engadget, showing the differences. The tutorial is pretty much the same, AFAIK, as the only real differences are the smaller GPU and the less power draw. His last laptop revision was a Jasper.

As he said it's the same. But the jasper unit is better to use when making your own cooling system because it's around 20° cooler.
Re: falcon vs jasper 360 laptop
Are the pinouts on the motherboard the same for the VGA output since it has the HDMI port also, and the fact that they are spaced differently than boards without HDMI?
Re: falcon vs jasper 360 laptop
Pinouts are the same. I made my laptop from a Jasper. Its really the only way to go. Heat is such a problem with 360's
