Rumble/Memory?

Is it possible to connect both a rumble pak and a memory pak to the same controller expansion bus? Or would having two different types of data lines not work?

Should I just use a rumble-memory combo pak to use both?

Tremor pak plus is a combo unit.

I think I can probably afford to use some extra paks instead of buying a new one.

However, would the 3.3V from the regulator be too much for powering the rumble pak?
