I swear I saw some info on this subject a long time back, but I cannot find it. Is it possible to build a translation interface between a standard pot based analog stick and the proprietary signal used by N64 joysticks? Say, one that would allow you to use a gamecube joystick on a stock N64 pad. Yes, I know it would be possible to just use a third party mobo and wire that to a stripped N64 stock pad, but this would be a fun project.
I am assuming I would need a PIC of some sort to translate the signal, if it is possible to figure out. Anybody have info?
Thanks a ton!
