SNES controller for player one on a Super joy III??

Im working on my n64 laptop. It will have all the ports for the n64 with a/v out and a/v in. I am also putting a super joy 3 inside so i can play built in games. However, there is no first player controller for the super joy 3. Is it possible to make it to where i could plug a unmooded snes controller into it and get A, B, turbo A, turbo B, the d-pad, start, and select. (reset will be on the laptop itself). If i cant do it unmodded, could i modify the controller?

This is posted in the wrong section. It would be best in the N64 section. Don't make a new one there, though, a Mod will come along soon enough and move it.
