Rewiring Connection

I need to buy some cables (E.X: rewing the Harddrive dock, or the power port, or Extending the DVD and SATA connections for the DVD drive) Can comeone link me to the cables I need to be resoldering. I have an Old computer, and can steal stuff from it, but the IDE cable is compremised of a lot of small wires, are these the wires I need? All help will be greatly appreciated.

We just stole IDE wires from my friend's old computer to make most of our extensions, stripping whatever number of wires we needed for each application. The only ones I would suggest using thicker wire for would be the power plug extension (if you plan to do that) and any other power wires (backlights, inverter power, audio board power, etc).

Ok, so just stripe down an Old IDE cable (with an Exacto)

Also, I totally forgot where I posted that comment, but I don't Wanna fry the Mobo of an Xbox (not yet) SO im thinking of making an older system portable first.

Any Suggestions?
