Poem search by topic

We have to do thig poem thing for school where we find poems and high light the part that makes them an alliteration, metaphor, onomatopoeia, rhyme and simile. I cant find a good site where you can search by type of poem. Does anyone no of any?

Similies and metaphors are part of poems, you cant really search BY them. A lot of poems have metaphors, ect ect.

yea, none of what you mentioned are types of poems, they are poetic devices. it's no wonder that there aren't any sites that let you search by those criteria.

i'd suggest some poems by yeats, heaney and keats. if i remember correctly (its been a couple of years since i did poetry in any large amount), those poets tend to use all of those devices. robert frost too. those poets will make your life a little easier.

You can always turn to "Tiger! Tiger!" or whatever it's called.
Never liked that poem actually.
