*please note* i have ZERO experience with, soldering, little electronics, circuitry, case construction or anything along those lines, BUT however i want to make my first portable....
THE CASE: The Original Etch-A-Sketch
THE CONSOLE: N64
THE SCREEN: HD Access PTV7000 7" Wide Screen Portable Digital HDTV
THE FEATURES: Composite Out to TV, 4 controller ports, rechargable batteries, headphone jack etc. etc.
THE PLAN: Fit a 7.5" screen where the original 7.5" screen was. Cartridge slot either on top of console or behind it. I want to keep the original 2 rotary knobs for POWER & VOLUME. I will probobly have to make the case wider to fit the controllers, i dont know yet. But i would like the joystick at the top left corner & buttons on the other side with the Z trigger in top left & R trigger top right.
Does anyone think this is possible??????
I mean if i buy the 7" tv it is around $90 but it comes with almost everything i need.....1200mAh rechargeable Li-battery (approx. 90 min.), Analog cable TV ready, Stereo audio output, External 90V - 120V AC power adapter, 50Hz/60Hz & speakers.
The power supply is 9V output. IS THAT A PROBLEM?
LIKE I SAID I AM COMPLETELY CLUELESS ON WHAT TO DO. ANY GUIDANCE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED!!! Thanks
Brett-
