I found this 5 inch lcd display. It has rca inputs and it comes with an inverter for just $47.99. Do you guys think this would work for a snesp project??

It's not in stock, but other than that it should work.

The one thing I see that is troubling is the 13.8vdc listed voltage. Designed for the car I suppose. This is going to be a problem when trying to put together a portable isn't it? I have never attempted a portable project before and I am just trying to get my ducks in a row before I start. One problem I am having is cost... especially with the display. The ps1 screen seems to be difficult to find especially at a reasonable cost. Any ideas where to score one cheap? Or any alternatives?

Go with the Zenith hailrazer posted. The one you put up originally is a bit expensive.
