high performance case fans, help?

Post by That Tech Kid »

Ok so lately i have been adding fans to my xbox 360, and as of now i have a 70mm fan on the top of the case blowing air into the console, but i soon want to replace it with a 120mm fan, my question is, are there any 120mm case fans that can move about 90+ cfm with a dBa around 40? any links or advice is much appreciated.

That's a pretty specific question, you might have more luck just searching PC hardware review sites for heatsink/fan combos and stuff.

Also, I think (dont quote me on this or antything) that is more efficient to suck air over a heatsink than to blow air at it. 100% of the fans in my computers at home suck air over heatsinks or blow it out of the case.

well i have the two back fans sucking air out, and that's the only one blowing air in so it gives it a better airflow and air circulation, but anyway thanks for the advice

Ok, dont know if you hve this magazine in the us but one fo my favorite magazines, custom pc recetnly did a massive feature on fans. The best fan that fitted your specs is the Scythe S-flex SFF21G . and its 101 cfm :).
