So i have just opened up my N64 control and need to know where to take it from here. Obviously i need to create two halves some how but i havent a clue. I know you can chop and then re wire the traces but i have no idea how to go about it. Or could you wire a secound dpad to the existing contol? Im stuck any and all help would be apreciated.

It's for a Gamecube controller but basically the N64 controller is done the same way.
