Was looking on ebay and found a famiclone I've never seen before:

Pretty neat, just thought I'd share. Too bad the game goes in backwards. Comes in (at least) 5 colors.

(not sure if this has been posted before or not, I did check the first page of the nes forum though :p)

I'm pretty sure it's the exact same sytem I bought (FC Game Console) but in a different plastic shell. I saw them when I was buying mine. There's even a couple with original NES ports.
Think.

You have this one right?

I guess to most it does not matter what the plastic casing looks like as they are making it into a portable anyways.

That console is called the Famikonyarou (which is a pun, means something like Fami-Soul-House-Boy...) in Japan. I haven't seen the NES-type version, but mine has 7 games built-in that are all really poor hacks of old non-mapper games like Super Mario and the like. The one wallydawg showed was the silver edition NeoFami. They offer both consoles in just about every color you'd probably want, though the Famikonyarou has more colors and revisions. Everyone agrees that it's the crappier built one though. It's been replaced by the FamiEight, which I think has been replaced by something else.

I have the same as that silver box system, except it's black, cartridge slot turned the other way and it has 9 pin controller ports. The same guts though.
Think.

Oh wow, I totally didn't notice the NES controller ports on it. That's I think the first one I've ever seen! Nice.
