What would be dead if the expansion pack goes in backwards?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Yep. I did it. Now my N64 will not turn, no matter what game I try. Is the N64 dead, the expansion pack, or both?

Unplug the power supply and then plug it in and try it tomorrow.

You only have to wait a few hours for the PSU to reset, at least from my experience.

Sometimes you have to wait over 24 hours. I know this for a fact :)

It has sat for over 48 hours and it's running off of a 7.5v PSone power cord :P I have tried it with a 12v plug as well, but no luck...

Try using a Jumper Pak, or a different Expansion Pak.

Putting it in backwards shorts 3.3v to ground. Whatever you are getting 3.3v from is probably blown.
