Help with A/V in jack!!

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Help with A/V in jack!!

Hi everyone im kinda stuck as im too lazy to figure it out for myself.(that and i cant find my av cord)
Im using a old portable dvd screen for my portable. and it has a standard 3.5mm av in jack and i dont know video from audio!
if anyone could post a link im sure someone has asked this before. if not upon request i will post some nice pics for someone to help figure it out with.

i want to solder directly to the board and my portable is a N64

SOMEONE HELP ITS SO CLOSE TO DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG im so sad!!!
i was looking up polarity on my dvd player and apparently its not a av in :( its av out :cry:
Philips PET320 3.5 in. yea got it for $30 last year and now i will smash it with a warhammer i made in metal shop.

ill post pics of hammer and remains of destroyed dvd player to ease my pain.....
