In a portable, no. Unless you're dragging a car battery around, then yes.
It works in reverse. I may have to get a couple for my truck and ditch the alternator...

Lol well that^ and those things are utter crap for directly cooling any kind of processor. Any time you cool something below room temperature you are going to get condensation AND they create more heat on the hot side then they take away so you would need an even bigger heatsink on the hot side!Tchay wrote:Well actually yes. Yeah thats what I was wondering about!!! I did buy a sweet copper heatsink&fan for my GC portable so I will test that out in the future. I feel like we should have a section on this site where people review the latest and greatest.
