Hey,
Sorry not a "mod" question technically... but the wise ones that roam these forums should be a quick answer. Ever since the wife reclaimed the 42" plasma I have been playing my xbox on a standard definiton TV next to my computer desk. (ewwww I know, insert whipped joke)
I have been shopping around for a 30ish inch LCD TV so I could have a really sweet Xbox 360 Monitor and PC Monitor. The problem is that 32" LCD TVs are about $500
Now looking at 24" LCD Monitors that have resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 are less than half the price ($200ish)

What would you guys suggest:
1. Bite the bullet and suffer through a few months of Modern Warfare 2 on S-Video while I save up
2. Buy a 1080p LCD Monitor and get it overwith.
Thanks

It really depends on your money situation, among other things like how well you take to playing on standard definition. It's your choice, and one person could do a completely different thing from another and it would be the right call for both of them.

I am pulling my hair out on S-Video and not looking forward to playing MW2 on it

If your current monitor isn't too bad, you may be able to use it for the 360 until you get something else. Even if its only 720p, you probably won't be able to notice the difference on a small screen.
I think a 24" screen would be about the max you'd want to go with a computer monitor. Anything bigger would probably get annoying to use on a daily basis. On the other hand, I would prefer a bigger screen for playing games. It really comes down to what you would prefer.
