DESPRATE FOR HELP with Genesis Clone Portable!!

Post by Tschoe »

Hello all! I've been building an NES/SNES/Genesis portable using a mini SNES board, and the GEN-X Genesis/NES clone. and everything has gone swimmingly! that is, until last night, when the NES side suddenly began acting spiratically : ( (The Genesis side still works perfectly) What happens is when I start up the NES side, the video is black and white, and I suppose the right word is "wiggles" about the screen. (It looks like the old rabbit ear TVs when they could just barely get a channel) I have checked EVERY connection multiple times. I am sure it is getting the correct amperage and voltage as well. Does this sound like a transistor problem or capacitor problem or something of that sort? It doesn't appear to have any blown capacitors. NOTE audio still works! I can hear the game perfectly, it's just the video. PLEASE HELP! It has been working just fine until about 7 hours ago. Thank you in advance to all you kind people out there :D
Talking to her about computer hardware I make my mother board.
