Yeah apparently you can use it to play burned games without a modchip or something. I don't know much about it because I heard about it after I sold it haha.

Ya, I think theres a couple ways to do that. There is a disc you can buy (I'm not sure if you can burn it) called HD Loader that installs the ripping software to the hard drive.
