Connect a IDE HDD to Zune (Original)

If I use something like this - http://en.esskabel.de/adapter/datasheet ... f-ide40/71" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - can I hook up a regular computer harddrive to my Zune and play music and movies off of it, or is it just not that simple? 300 gigs would definitely be nice, and then I could maybe fashion some sort of little media console with the zune and hdd in a casing together. Just an idea..

you would have to get the oppisite of that i think, a ZIF>ide adapter. i think they do sell them on ebay, and if you can power the hdd i cant think of a reason it wouldnt work. formatting might be an issue but i dont know for certain
