Yey! just got a boxed atari 2600 with 5 games for (gasp!) $10!
I just want to know how do you hook up the atari to a modern TV?
Plus in bens "how to make an atari portable" I need to find spot "E" on mine. Can anyone help? (If its right where it should be please call me an idiot)

(the "E" stuff)

Well, I will just use this post also for questions, I recently got an Atari 2600 4 swithch (woodgrain style) with 13 games, 1 controller, and power cable, everything for like 45 dollars.

Well first of all, I never had an Atari, and those things are HUGE (at least on the outside), but they do not weigh a lot.

I want to make a portable with it, but I needs some help in order to do so, I have bens book and will follow the basic instruction on how to make it 4x4, but I want to know if it is easy to have all the options it have, like all the switches, and compatibility with all games (I've already read the post of the mod of pin 1 and z, whatever they are), and also (like all my future portable porjects) to be able to plug it to a tv (preferably with an A/V cable).

Thanks in advance.

Just put a little bit of solder over the gap to connect it again. But be forewarned, soldering to the little green traces is harder than soldering parts to parts. Try using some extremely fine sandpaper or an emory board or something like that to file the traces a bit. If it doesn't remove the insulation, it will at least make the surface rougher, so there's more for the solder to "grab" onto.

Mwahahaha! Almost done with my portable. Just need a good case. I'm gonna ask this plastics place by me (Abbott plastics) if they do custom stuff.
