Perf board for Retro Duo cartridge connector?

I'm working on a new portable and I'll need to somehow mount a Retro Duo's SNES cartridge slot securely. Does anyone know of a brand of perf board that matches the spacing of the cart connector's pins? Generic RadioShack perf board doesn't quite match. With a bit of work I could probably force it to match, but it would be easier if I could just use a board that's already compatible. I plan on making several portables with the same design so I can't rely on just swapping it with an SNES mini's or FC Twin's cartridge connector.

so... you mean that the snes mini and retro duo have different cartridge connectors?

Yes and no - they both fit an SNES cartridge but their overall shape is different. The SNES mini cartridge connector has tabs on both sides that you can mount it with, whereas the Retro Duo's connector does not.

My first instinct would be to epoxy some tabs on and use those I drilled off the sides of my connector slot thing and am thinking of doing that on my snesp.

Why don't you just buy a broken snes off some noob and use that connector?

Again, I plan on making several portables of the same style. That would not be feasible for all of them.

as long as the retro duo has plastic on the cartridge slot, just put it over a flame or gas stove or a lighter and make that part melt. Then, shove another piece of plastic in the emlted spot and let it dry

Along those same lines, try plastic cement.

(But there HAS been plenty of dead SNES' from noobs lately...)
