this is for questions about whether certain things conduct electricity (such as paper clips, copper wire, human blood...)
My question is whether aluminum foil conducts electricty

Yep, when you think about it, aluminum is a conductive metal, and aluminum foil is made of aluminum. Granted, I doubt it cant take that high a current, it can still conduct.

Yes, I remember when I was little, I would take a voltage as low as 12V and put the ground on the side of the aluminum foil, and use the positiove lead to burn through the foil, "writing" in it. Needless to say, the AC adapter eventually fried, but it was fun. ^^

Yes it does. I used it to splice speaker wires together at school. (I pulled a MacGyver, if you will.)

FUN ELECTRICITY TRICKS:

With a penny and a galvanized nail inserted into opposite ends of a lemon, you can get a whole volt from fresh fruit. I did this in Science class, it ran a cheapo $1 watch for about a week. (kept it in the fridge)

try licking the power end of a 9-volt battery. You will experience a nasty, metallic taste. The nastier the flavor, the better the battery is.

A neighbor's house with aluminum siding makes a great foxhole radio antenna.
