Total Noobish Question on batteries

OK i'm buying two RC batteries from radioshack These

I was wondering, if i want to have the same voltage but more amperage going to my playstation do i wire the batteries in series or in parellel?

You get more capacity in parallel, yes. More amp-hours, and more amp potential, but that's not a problem. Those batteries can take a continuous draw of 20-30 amps, and the PSOne draws less than an amp.

By the way, for that same price on Ebay, you can get two batteries of that size and a charger.

Are those like the one's you used streth or did you use 9.6 volt batteries.
