I have never portablized anything and was wondering what i should start with? Suggestions please

Famicom/NES clone. It's already miniature, has low power requirements, is cheap and easily available, and often has games built in so you could forget the cart slot if you were happy enough with the selection.

PS1 is surprisingly easy.

is it easier to do ps1 than snes because it is cd?

PS1 or NESclone are what I suggest.

Just pop a screen on the NESclone, put it in a case, throw in some AA batteries and you're pretty much done.

yeah, i just started and i think i might do that. My friend had one but it broke the DAY before i found out you could use it to play nes games

That is REALLY unfair, don't you hate it when that happens? Just like the fact I found out what I was doing wrong with my Light Gun, then it bust.

its wont be to troblesome assumeing you know basic electronics and use one of the newer smaller models Ide say silgheley ezer than a psone though much harder to open the case

not realy you dont have to move the cart slot if you dont want to you can just work around it witch still give pretty good resolts and the carts stay in place pretty well so they dont realy fall out or anything

the snes runs on 5v, how much does the psone?
