computer problem

ok...i have to dj a dance, the best way to do it would be to put two music players on a laptop, and do that. but for some reason i cant get the media players onto the laptop. i dont know what to do?

ooohh. You're awfully vague here. You could always burn the programs to a CD. Or run out to the store and get a USB storage drive. Or you could hook the laptop up to the other PC through a direct cable connection. An ethernet crossover cable? I don't know. I need details.

I like Ots Labs' turntables and CD Scratch programs. CD scratch, the free version, lets you record-scratch CDs, and the registered version lets you scratch MP3 and other sound files. The free versionj of Turntables lets you scratch files, and the paid version lets you scratch CDs. I installed them both.

well i cant do a cable connection, and i tried to make a small network, but that didnt work...and i tried puttin one on a disc, but i managed to screw that up too....i have windows media player, winamp, and musicmatch

ok....i put winamp, musicmatch and widows media player all on a cd and for some reason i cant load them on my laptop, the laptop has windows 98 and this pc has xp.

Most likely problem is that they are imcompatable. You cant really have programs that are for the XP or even 2000 versions of Windows and expect them to run. I'd say find a place that still offers WMP 6 or 7 and use that, dont know what version of the other two ran on 98.

All of those should run AFAIK. What error message is it giving you?
