How much would a loose n64 cost...?

Post by Oniak »

I killed mine and most likely won't be able to fix it so I'm wondering how much one would cost should I choose to buy one?

Check the Trading Post. Skyone has one left for $8 or $9, last I checked.

You can get a completely refurbushed N64 console from the guys at the Nintendo Repair Shop website. They cost about $40 plus tax, and for that you get an overhauled system with new hookup cables, and a new 3rd-party controller as well. Here's the link, for anyone who's interested.

When I put tinfoil in the cartridge slot of my gameshark, and put a game in on top of that (don't ask ) my n64 wouldn't work for 3 weeks. I don't know what you did to it, but as long as you didn't try to rip off the processor or pull some traces, it might eventually work again.

refurbished just sounds like they just blow some air in the cartridge slot and up the price $30

Also, like it has already been said I think you could find one for around $10
