How much bigger is snes vs snes mini?
Snes minis are so much harder and more expensive to come by, How much bigger would it be if I made a portable out of a regular snes?

It depends on what version of the original SNES you use. The later ones (I think from 1995 on or something like that) have a motherboard that's about the same length as that of an SNES mini and an inch or two wider. The eject panel on the later ones has the word "eject" molded into the plastic rather than printed on it in white. I think some of the ones with it printed in white may also have the smaller board, but I'm not sure.
