Xbox LED mods

Just wanted to post up a pic of an xbox I've started working on:


I swapped the green LEDs in the ring of light with blue ones, and back lit each controller port with red LEDs.This Xbox is TSOP flashed with iND bios, has a Phillips DVD drive, and has a 40 GB hard drive. I'm hopping to take out the Jewl and paint it either blue or make it clear and put either blue or red LEDs in it, and eventually put it all back together

Where are you getting your LED's?

I rip them out of anything I can get my hands on! If all else fails, go to radioshack

My LEDs on 2 of my controller ports stopped working and now I am thinking of swapping them out for some white back lit controller ports I have lying around

I got the new LEDs installed, and I think it looks much better. I'm now planning on either getting a clear case, or cutting a DVD window into the case

Looks good. Are they white or blue?

They are white, it's a little hard to tell by the picture. I was actually thinking of getting a clear case at http://www.clearxbox.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; so I can also get a clear faceplate for my PSP at the same time. But right now I'm trying to trade one of my xboxs' off and trying to fix a couple of nuked TSOPs too so I don't have the money to get a clear case yet
