My Plans for PyCast - A Portable Dreamcast by PyGuy

Hi...I'm new to the site and I am making a Portable Dreamcast Called the PyCast AKA The QTE Boy. (The "Py" Stands for my last name "Pyle", and people call me PyGuy sometimes) This will be my first portable project.

The case will be pretty creative, but not nearly as creative as Hailraiser's LaserDoodle case It will be encased by a Hori Wii Fighting Stick case (there were barely any games compatible with that peice of junk, as sexy as it was on the outside).


I have a PicoPSU and two giant 6v batteries (I will buy something a little more compact later, a link to one with decent amperage would be great)
Also, I plan to hack a PSone screen with the help of Ben Heckendorn's book, too.

I have one question about the case though...
What is the best tool for a smooth cut to make a case. There's a lot of obstructions on the inside of the fighting stick.

Well, if you're looking for smooth cuts, you have several options.

1. The dremel. Cut with disc, then file down nice and pretty.

2. The soldering iron. Only use an iron you'll never use again. Melt then file.

3. The X-Acto. Make multiple passes, then snap apart, then file down.
